1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of GuardSphere, a digital access governance, device management, policy enforcement, safety reporting, student study insight, and workforce intelligence platform operated by GuardSphere Technologies Inc. By using GuardSphere, you agree to these Terms.
2. Who may use GuardSphere
GuardSphere may be used by authorized families, schools, institutions, organizations, administrators, employees, parents, guardians, and managed users according to the account type, permissions, and policies configured by the subscribing organization. If you use GuardSphere on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Service description
GuardSphere provides tools for device enrollment, device status monitoring, domain and app governance, policy assignment, activity reporting, geofence and location-related controls where enabled, compliance insights, school reporting, parent-facing study reports, workforce analytics, and integrations with supported third-party systems such as Google Workspace or Chrome Enterprise.
4. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, restricting access to authorized users, and ensuring that your use of GuardSphere complies with applicable laws, school or workplace policies, privacy obligations, and any consent requirements that apply to monitored devices or users.
5. Managed devices and users
GuardSphere may collect device, activity, policy, application, browsing, location, identity, and compliance signals from managed devices depending on the features enabled by the organization. Organizations are responsible for informing managed users, parents, guardians, employees, or other affected persons about the monitoring, reporting, and governance features they enable.
6. Google Workspace and third-party integrations
If you connect GuardSphere to Google Workspace, Chrome Enterprise, or another third-party service, you authorize GuardSphere to access the information permitted by the scopes and permissions you approve. GuardSphere uses this access to support device governance, organizational unit sync, user mapping, managed app insight, reporting, and related administrative functions. You may revoke third-party access through the third-party provider or your GuardSphere settings where supported.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse GuardSphere, attempt to bypass security controls, interfere with service operation, access data without authorization, reverse engineer protected parts of the platform, use the service for unlawful surveillance, or use GuardSphere in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
8. Data and privacy
GuardSphere handles data according to its Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains the types of data GuardSphere may collect, how that data is used, and the choices available to customers and users. You can review it at https://guardsphere.app/privacy.
9. Customer content and configuration
Customers remain responsible for the policies, users, groups, device assignments, schedules, allowed or blocked domains, app settings, report recipients, and other configurations they create in GuardSphere. GuardSphere may process this information to provide the service and maintain platform reliability, security, and compliance.
10. Availability and changes
GuardSphere may update, improve, suspend, or modify parts of the service from time to time. We aim to provide a reliable platform, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation at all times.
11. Intellectual property
GuardSphere, including its software, design, branding, platform features, reports, and documentation, is owned by GuardSphere Technologies Inc. or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of GuardSphere intellectual property to you.
